Professional Experience
Senior Geography Educator
Over 20 years’ experience leading geography departments across the UK and Europe, with a dedicated focus on GCSE and A‑Level. I work with GCSE and A‑Level students in Greater Manchester, UK and international online across the world. Results have consistently been in the top 5% globally for Geography, including teaching in schools ranked among the Spear’s Top 100 Global Colleges.
Examiner for over 10 years (AQA, Edexcel, CIE)
I mark examinations for major exam boards and understand how they apply mark schemes in practice. I use this insight to target the exact skills and techniques students need to secure top grades. My examining experience gives me a deep understanding of assessment criteria, so that lessons are tightly aligned to what examiners reward.
GCSE & A‑Level Geography Tutor (Greater Manchester & Online)
